EIROSISTĒMA NODOD ATKLĀTĪBAI EIROPAS SĒRIJAS 5 EIRO BANKNOTI

Eiropas Centrālās bankas (ECB) prezidents Mario Dragi (Mario Draghi) šodien nodeva atklātībai Eiropas sērijas 5 eiro banknoti. Iepazīstināšana ar jauno banknoti bija galvenais notikums izstādes "Eiro jaunā seja" atklāšanā. Izstāde apskatāma Arheoloģijas muzejā Frankfurtē pie Mainas no 2013. gada 11. janvāra līdz 10. martam.


Jaunajā 5 eiro banknotē izmantoti jaunākie sasniegumi banknošu tehnoloģijā, kas attīstījusies kopš pirmās sērijas ieviešanas pirms vairāk nekā 10 gadiem. Tajā izmantoti daži jauni un uzlaboti pretviltošanas elementi. Uz ūdenszīmes un hologrammas redzams Eiropas portrets. Eiropa ir grieķu mitoloģijas tēls un tās vārdā nosaukta šī banknošu sērija. Uzmanību piesaista smaragdzaļais skaitlis, kas maina krāsu no smaragdzaļas uz tumši zilu. Uz tā redzams kustīgas gaismas efekts – tā pārvietojas augšup un lejup. Īsas reljefas līnijas banknotes kreisajā un labajā malā ļauj viegli atpazīt banknoti, īpaši cilvēkiem ar redzes traucējumiem.

Paredzēts, ka šie pretviltošanas elementi tiks iekļauti visās jaunajās banknotēs. Tos viegli pārbaudīt, banknotes aptaustot, apskatot un pagrozot.

Uz jaunās sērijas banknotēm redzami pirmās sērijas laikmetu un stilu motīvi un izmantotas tās pašas dominējošās krāsas. Kā pirmā 2013. gada 2. maijā apgrozībā tiks laista 5 eiro banknote. Citu nominālvērtību banknotes, t.i., 10 eiro, 20 eiro, 50 eiro, 100 eiro, 200 eiro un 500 eiro, tiks ieviestas tuvāko gadu laikā pieaugošā secībā.

Pirmās sērijas banknotes sākotnēji būs apgrozībā paralēli jaunajām banknotēm, bet pamazām tiks izņemtas no apgrozības un ar laiku pārstās būt likumīgs maksāšanas līdzeklis. Datums, kad tas notiks, tiks laikus paziņots. Taču pirmās sērijas banknotes saglabās vērtību bez laika ierobežojuma un tās jebkurā laikā varēs apmainīt eiro zonas nacionālajās centrālajās bankās.

Šajā interneta vietnē iekļauta arī spēle "Euro Cash Academy" – mācību līdzeklis, kas aizraujošā veidā iepazīstina ar jauno 5 eiro banknoti un pārējām eiro banknotēm. Turklāt 2013. gada aprīlī bankās, veikalos un citos uzņēmumos visā eiro zonā tiks izplatītas brošūras par jauno 5 eiro banknoti. Visi šie pasākumi palīdzēs sabiedrībai un skaidrās naudas apstrādātājiem laikus iepazīt jaunās banknotes un nodrošinās Eiropas sērijas banknošu raitu ieviešanu.

LETTER OF INTENT

We wish to use the electronic media and/or print media produced by the European Central Bank (ECB) to inform others. We declare that:
1. Any information or materials received from the ECB will be used for information purposes only.
2. We will not use the “€ OUR MONEY” logo for purposes that could be detrimental to the euro, or for commercial or advertising purposes, and we will adhere to the style guidelines provided in the Partnership Programme.
3. Any electronic materials, pictures, files or documents provided by the ECB will remain its sole property. The ECB will reserve its or third-party copyrights. We will not pass any information or materials received from the ECB to any third party, except for production purposes.
4. Should we use the original master files of materials prepared by the ECB, we will preserve the integrity of the text.
5. We pledge to follow the reproduction rules for euro banknotes and coins as published in the Official Journal of the European Union and available on the ECB’s website at www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/reproduction/html/index.en.html.
6. If we use electronic media online, we will include a link to www.new-euro-banknotes.eu and we will inform the ECB of the material used and where it has been used. We will forward the links.
7. We understand that stocks of ECB materials for distribution are limited. We will inform the ECB of the number of copies distributed, the means of distribution as well as the target groups.
On behalf of the company/institution mentioned above, we declare that we will refrain from using any materials either in printed or electronic form provided by the ECB until our membership of the Partnership Programme has been confirmed.
We will be liable for any damages incurred by the ECB should we not act in accordance with this Letter of Intent. We also understand that the ECB reserves the right to terminate our membership at any time.
